Routine Tune Up AHU has a piston, based on superheat the refrigerant charge is a little low Added refrigerant to 11° superheat

Upon arrival I checked the capacitor and contactor to be sure it was not causing breaker to trip. Then I ohmed compressor. I found pin blown out of compressor. Compressor needs replaced. I quoted a Bryant unit.

Matt C.
Found no power to the condenser due to a tripped breaker. The compressor is shorted. Recommended system replacement. The customer would like only the condenser replaced. I was told by Dale that we will not just install a condenser on a nine year old air handler.

Bill H.
Ran complete system tune up. After adjusting sub-cool to proper charge with 8 oz of 410A. System working within factory specifications. Cleaned and treated coils and drain. Flushed and cleaned drain. Washed and waxed OD unit.

Matt C.
Found two factory wires disconnected. Reconnected those wires and started the system.

Had lengthy conversation with Mrs. All the symptomns she described to me were related to heat pump defrost cycle and are normal functions

Wall cavity behind garage AHU is a "wall plenum" Wall opposite which is in bathroom is removed Several areas were noted as gaps allowing attic air intrusion which should be sealed prior to re-rocking wall Quote is 420.00 to 560.00 to seal exposed areas Contractor or customer to coordinate a RS

Found that defrost control not functional on unit #1 unit was coming on for 2 or 3 seconds then shutting down made sure pressure switch on suction line is still working properly and also made sure pressures good found that there was no disconnect handle or Deadman plate used new one out of new disconnect. Price that was told for defrost control board 278$ Unit number 2 found that unit had leak valve stem was 1/2 turned out system took 3 lbs of 410a to get charges where needed. Customer is calling in to pay.

Carolyn R.
Upon arrival customer stated that units are not heating. The two straight cool units were set to heat and both heat strips were not coming on. Inspected heat strip on both units and noticed that they were not wired. Heat is now functioning properly.

Jeff W.
Alt # 7277096733., System off on float switch. Clear drain and pan. Check system operation. Heat strip operating but no call for Heat pump. Ordered new zone control board..

Cliff P.
Did tune up cleaned drain pan unit is operating where it is supposed too

Jeff W.
Water leak from roof below RPU. Inspect and test drainage, duct cover has gaps. Sealed duct cover and advise customer of repair. Water damage to ceiling in hall by lighting fixture.

Jeff M.
Upon arrival the drainline was backing up and then draining slowly. Causing to not run then start running again before backing up again. I cleared both drainlines and now draining homeowner said heat not blowing very hot and then blow cool air. I checked controller and found heat source in heat pump mode only. I switched both controllers to system in control. That should produce more heat and no cool air during defrost cycle. Tuneup was done 11/10/21 so no charges today.

Glen H.
Initially, AC failed to operate, Found drain float sticking in activated position Corrected and confirmed drain is impeded vacumed out drain and tested Another company has installed a 1/6 to 1/3 HP fan motor which is causing attrusive vibration and noise. Verified OEM motor is a 1/10 HP, 1100 RPM Verified cooling and heating functions Quote OEM motor at 525.00 or less

Jeff M.
Upon arrival I looked over airhandler with homeowner. She pointed out everything she did not like. Then I removed pan from under unit. Then I taped off areas to make a clean line for mastic. Then I retaped and mastic both plenums. I had homeowner point areas she did not like and then touched them up. Then I cut drainline and brought it out farther from unit to take bow out of line. Then installed a metal hanger for drainline and attached to ceiling with an anchor. Then I wrapped black electrical tape over fasson tape homeowner wanted it black without fasson on it. I reinstalled pan and tilted towards float switch. Then I tied up float switch wires to make it look better. Homeowner is going to call office to find out about the inspection. I poured water down drainline to make sure it was draining. It was drawell at this time.

Jeff M.
Upon arrival the system was running in heat mode. The sun was shining down on condenser melting the frost before it had a chance to buildup. This is causing a steady drip of condensation from coil. I called an explained to homeowner. Homeowner is not happy it was jot explained to her before she bought system. Very unhappy with other issues as well.

Jeff M.
Annual ac tuneup and cleaning. I checked refrigerant pressures and static pressure. I checked temp splits. I checked all amp draws and heat strip. I checked capacitor and contactor. I waxed outdoor unit and cleaned both coils. I flushed drainline multiple times. I did not find any issues at this time.

Upin arrival the system had restarted. It had high pressure lockout. Everything seemed to be running fine. I noticed the condenser coil had a lot of dust and grass clippings in it. I cleaned condenser coil and I could hear condenser fan ramping up with better airflow through coil. I told homeowners to call if it comes back but could not find any problems at this time.

Jeff W.
