Found x13 motor not running upon arrival. Verified line voltage and control to motor. Need new blower control module. Tested all speeds and high speed will run motor. Temporarily switched motor to high speed. Advise labor charge of 1 hour at 120.00 only if valid parts warranty valid.
System low voltage breaker tripped. Traced short to splice at outdoor unit. Repaired wire. All,operating.
Found system compressor shorted to ground. Reccomend replacement due to age and condition. (21 yr old, r22)
Found system low on puron 410a refrigerant. Added two pounds to get system working. Customer is. Ot interested in repairing system as it is over 16 years old. Quoted for new systems.
Perform yearly maintenance checks and cleanings. System operating at this time.
10 year parts and 1 year labor warranty
Customer accidentally shorted 24 volt fuse when replacing float switch. Rewired float switch and repaired unglued pvc drain connections. Replaced fuse and restarted cooling.
System cleaning and maintenance. Found fan capacitor weak, rated at 7.5, measuring 2.1 mfd. Also filter needs to be replaced. Called number in record for authorization for repair and payment. No answer. No email to send quote.
System cleaning and tune up
Found 24 volt fuse shorted. Inspected all 24 volt wires and checked for shorts to ground. Found none at this time. Replaced 24 volt fuse and restarted cooling. Monitored system. Fuse would not trip. Will reinspect system again if fuse shorts again.
10 year parts and 1 year labor warranty
Upon arrival the other company keeps changing fan speed. They already replaced compressor do to noise complaints. At this time the txv is not metering correctly and needs replaced. Also the duct work was not replaced and think there could be issues with it causing smell in the house. I quoted txv and discussed his options at length. I entered equipment info.
Upon arrival the homeowner wanted the new NHP stat installed. I explained to him that his house was originally a straight cool and the install parameters were not set up correctly switching it to a heat pump. I installed NHP and reconnected all wires dis connected from previous tech. I started and checked to make sure the heat strip was not coming on. It is cooling and draining at this time. No stat wire needed replaced. STAT SERIAL 1121M090281
System off on float switch safety. Cleaned and flushed drain line with shop vac. Added drain tablets and viper pan spray. Restarted and tested drain line and cooling
Upon arrival the homeowner said unit would not reach set point. I checked pressures and subcooling. I sealed behind stat. I went into attic to make sure heat strip was on. I noticed a in home beauty shop right below airhandler which is in attic. I removed panels and found hair spray and salon products building up on coil. I suggested a tuneup and have coils cleaned well.
Found a bad capacitor. Replaced the capacitor and checked the system.
Completed the maintenance inspection.
Secondary pan was full and overflowing. The safety switch in pan was set to high in pan and could not shut down system. Both float switches work but primary pan was also plugged not allowing system to drain properly and overflowing into cabinet and Secondary pan. Also system has an external TXV that was pouring water into Secondary pan. The insulation was to loose and was causing that. Note: I checked for a crack in panand could not find one. Unfortunately that doesn't mean there isn't one. At this timewith all the other issues and not finding one we should be good. Drain cleaning ha 90 day warranty, but if it were to fill pan again that would indicate pan is cracked and needing replaced. We offer service agreements to keep system clean and in proper working condition for $207 for a year. Explanation of agreement is in your email Took 25 gallons of water out of system. Note#2 REPLACE FILTERS AND UNPLUG VENT LOUVERS. ALSO LEAVE FAN IN ON POSITION FOR 48 HOURS.
mismatched old system needs replaced asap Temporary fix on old system
Advised system in need of replacement, old r22 system. Have dogs and cats, system is extremely dirty and in bad condition and almost impossible to service. System needs to be replaced.

upon arrival the system was cooling but not keeping up. I did a leak search and found a leak in evaporater coil. I noticed that it was a mismatched system. The AIRHANDLER was a R410A and the older condenser was R22. I explained everything to homeowner that it was mismatched and that Bay Area could not guarantee a coil replacement with mismatched units. I quoted new coil and several new complete matched systems. I could do nothing for unit today.
Clear drain and pan. Install float switch. System operating at this time.
Found a tripped float switch due to a clogged drain line. Flushed the drain system
Found a tripped breaker. Reset the breaker and checked the system. The buss fuses were blowing. The system is pulling 59.5 amps per leg. Which is popping the buss fuses. Will need to return with the fuses and see about upsizing the breaker.
Found the electric heater running at the the same time as the air conditioning. Disconnected the low voltage wiring to the heater and tested other wires. Recommend replacing the low voltage wiring as most leads are getting power.
