Two service techs came to remove the old unit and install a temporary unit until our new one arrives. They worked fast and swapped the units, but they indicated they could not remove the old unit as promised, because it would not fit in their vans, so it is still sitting in my garage. Please remove the old unit ASAP.
Great Service Tech

Mark was very professional, called ahead to make sure I was available, and even was able to come earlier than scheduled, which was much appreciated. He took the time to go over the age and capacity of the unit, as I just moved in 2020, and had no idea of its history. When time comes I hope Mark will be able to replace it for me.

Arrived on time. Performed tests and advised quickly
Per customer the unit makes a noise like a car or truck running, Noted a "slight" drone type noise as is associated with all AC systems Operated unit, no unusual or attrusive noises were produced listening both inside of home and at the unit. Noise is undoubtedly a harmonics type noise Inspected fan, blower, compressor, no unusual function observed Loosened securing nuts on compressor base so as to let compressor sit only on rubber feet, this did reduce some direct vibration transference. Per customer this has helped reduce the noise Note to customer, some noises will always be apparent with moving parts and noise levels will change based on ambient temperatures

Air side test show almost a .7 resistance drop across evaporator = depths of evaporator are plugged up. Found main trunks from package unit beyond repair. Both 14" two full boxes or 25' . 1 - 14" collar needed. System will need cleaned. Evaporator and condenser coils. Also hole behind stat will need plugged to prevent stat from reading in the wall temperature. Clean system and do complete system tune up. Only after system has new duct work installed. Note: Can not replace duct that is built into mobile home, only duct that feeds it. Also duct will need vapor barrier. Price includes vapor barrier under duct. Customer would rather wait on agreement and duct work. The total was 1554 + the 67. Paid the 67 dollars for diagnostic
